This is my favorite, right-around-the-corner Greek diner. Food is always great, especially the Greek items- Spanokopita, gyro, avgolemeno soup. It's cheap, which is always nice, but the quality and flavor isn't sacrificed. I go in quite a bit, and the owner always greets us. Seating is never a problem, and neither is parking. The servers are a little brusque, but it is a diner, after all. I order take out frequently, as well, and it's always great. My favorites are the gyro and the penne vodka with meatballs.

This place is so disappointing. No training for staff. Owners seem miserable. It is so convenient but after going here many times and having such lousy service and food, never again. I worked in restaurants for many years and am so shocked when the servers or owners act like we're bothering them if we are unhappy with our food. When we don't eat something because it tastes horrible, they don't care, shrug their shoulders and don't credit the bill. We once ordered, waited about 20 minutes, they started bringing food out, then, oh yeah, we're out of yours, what do you want? Some dishes have been tasty, like a steak or pasta dish. We would go back and have an awful breakfast. Terrible omelettes, terrible onion rings. My husband asked me what was wrong with his onion rings, so I tried one. Awful! They make them home made, yes, there is no seasoning! Yes, we will leave it on your bill, even if it is the worst onion rings we ever had. They have such a great opportunity to serve great food and have great service. They are the only 'nicer' restaurant in this area, unfortunately. I just can't keep being disappointed. Back to searching for a decent diner type place.

Went their for breakfast. Horrible eggs undercooked. Bacon so greasy had to dry with paper towel. Waitress so busy talking couldn't take time to see if we needed anything. When she finally came asked for extra napkins since used our (one and only napkin), she brought only one more.. Are they running out of napkins?? So bad ate 1/4 of meal. When waitress finally stopped talking again to give check we waited another amount of time since she picked up conversation again. We wanted change to leave a small tip. Well she ended up with change. Have had dinner their in the past which was good. Not sure if it has changed this much in a year or their breakfast was always this bad. Maybe a reason there was only one other table filled in there at 9:00 am.

I just moved to the Boothewyn area and have been trying out some of the local restaurants. My son and I stopped here one night when I didn't feel like cooking. The creamy crab soup reminded me of back home...... A Beach town with SEAFOOD TO DIE FOR!!! I will come here often for a taste of home! Our waitress, Michele, was such a refreshing delight.... She recommended sandwiches for my son and an entrée for me ( I was the most hungered of us two). She was funny with my son, told us about the area, and checked on us constantly to see that we enjoyed our meal and had everything we needed (including my sons to go drink)!! We had so much food she happily boxed it up for us! This is the type of Mom and Pop restaurants that makes an area and makes new comers welcomed!!! You have a new customer !!

I went for lunch with a large group and we very much enjoyed our meal. It had a half diner, half family restaurant feel to it. Our server, Ashley, was very sweet and took very good care of us.The place was empty when we arrived. I think it is fairly new and it was 2pm on a Monday. The food came out surprising fast for a group of 7 during an off-peak meal time. I had the Penne Vodka with chicken and it was delicious. Other meals that mt group enjoyed included the Reuben Sandwich (cole slaw instead of sauerkraut, which I prefer), Chicken Parm and the Robbie or Bobbie (?) sandwich which was Thanksgiving on a roll with sliced Turkey, stuffing and cranberry sauce. The portions are large and they have daily specials that came with soup or salad, sides and dessert. You will definitely get a good meal for your money and I love to support the local restaurants when I go out!

Everytime I visit my family we have breakfast here before I leave, I live in the mid-west. It is typically a great experience but this time it was not so much. I and my family will never return and here is why: I wanted to substitute the hashbrowns and toast for a cup of fruit. I understand there is always an upcharge but this place does not offer substitutions. My niece wanted the chocolate chip mickey mouse pancake but also wanted just on scrammbled egg with it. In order to add one egg she had to order the one egg breakfast plate that came with hashbrowns and toast, they don't add an egg or have it on the kids menu. Not being able to substitute like every other breakfast place does (for an upcharge which is understandable) or have one egg as an add on is pathetic. I ordered the spinach and feta omlete but with egg whites: There was a lot of oil residue and one half o the omlete was partially burnt - not impressed. Maybe they have a new cook or someting because I never was disapointed before. The omlete was very flat - not fluffy at all. I'm not expecting it to be 2 inches high but when it does not even come a 1/4 of an inch off the plate with fixings in it, that should tell you something. The hashbrowns were good - I just did not want them but they were better than the omlete. The toast for all of us was warmed up - no "toast" markings at all. Not to mention the service is just ok.... which would be fine because we were enjoying our last breakfast before I departed but if you are a regular you get a much better greeting and goodbye. So much that we turned to look because we were shocked the server seemed to actually have a personality. They really like to make you not feel welcome and no worries, we will never return! I'm looking forward to starting a new tradition as I will never forget this very disapointing experience!

I went here expecting an average meal because I've never had a good meal here. They couldn't even make an acceptable meal. The service is a disgrace. I asked for a hot chocolate and it was never given to me. I also asked for " a million napkins". I was given 3. The eggs were inetable an the home fries were terrible. I will not be returning.

I went to Pappas quite a few times when it first opened a couple of years ago, mainly for breakfast/brunch. We always enjoyed our meals there. Haven't been there in a while and have been wanting to go back - just haven't had the chance to!

I've been here three times for breakfast and once for dinner. Dinner wasn't anything special that I can remember considering I don't even remember what I ate there, but their breakfast...SO GOOD. You have to try their cream cheese stuffed French toast. It's covered in bananas, strawberries, and blueberries with powdered sugar. Their eggs are all good and their breakfast potatoes are AMAZING! You have to get them with peppers and onions, makes them totally complete.

We have been here twice. Both times were for breakfast and we have enjoyed what we ordered. The prices are great and the waitstaff has always been friendly. I would probably give the food three stars, but the prices and convenience pushes it up a notch for me.

I'm stuck between 2 stars and 3. This place is a diner meets restaurant. They just recently opened and you can tell because the inside is freshly painted and the tables are new. Our waitress seemed like she had a rough Saturday night. I ordered the waffle with a side of scrapple. The waffle came out but with no butter and syrup and I had to ask for them. The waffle had no taste to it. The scrapple was a thick slice that was steaming, burn the inside of your mouth hot when you cut it open. Went to pay up front to the old man at the huge counter ( like a diner) but you pay your waitress ( like a restaurant) I would go here again, maybe try their lunch/dinner menu before I would return for breakfast.

What a disappointment! I always try to stop by this local restaurant for the specials listed on the marquis for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I have stopped there twice for the dinner special that includes a soup or salad and dessert for a very reasonable price. Tonight I order the spaghetti (requesting it be prepared "el dente") and meatball dinner special for $9.99. I chose the salad option (of a soup or salad) first course. The salad was old and turning brown; but edible. By the time I received my main course the waitress shift had changed. I started to eat the spaghetti and it was over-cooked and horrible. I mentioned to one waitress that I ordered the spaghetti "al dente" and then a second waitress came over to ask me what I meant. They both looked at me like I was speaking russian saying they didn't know what "al dente" meant. After the second waitress came out of the kitchen from asking the cook, the message was that the dinner "special" I ordered wasn't made fresh and was pre-cooked. The bottom line was that I couldn't get what I ordered. The look I got was to take it or leave it. Because they sold the last of a second "special" I ordered a gyro as a substitute for my meal. The gyro was not a good experience either, it was bland and tasteless. To top things off I was told that I couldn't get the dessert included with my original dinner special because I changed my meal..what a joke! You really have to be kidding me!!! This place could be a diamond in the rough... It has location, newer decor, clean dining area; but the dinner food and service is the pits. I guess that's why there were only two other elderly couples in the dining room the whole time I was there during what should have been the dinner rush. I can't recommend this place for dinner. I can only imaging that they are better suited for the breakfast and lunch crowds. Dinner is not their strength.

We've eaten breakfast here several times and each time has been excellent. The place is very clean and it's obvious as you look around. Even the bathroom is super clean--pretty impressive. The food has always been very good and the service, impeccable. The man runs a tight ship and it shows! Want to try it for dinner sometime too.

I always enjoy having breakfast here, I live right up the road and its by far the best breakfast/brunch offering in the area...only reason I didnt give 5 stars is because service can be hit or miss
